Mubasher: Bolt Express announced that it has acquired Premium Transportation Logistics (PTL).

Although the final terms of the deal have not been disclosed, it was announced that Jeff Curry, the CEO of PTL, will be joining the Bolt Express team in an advisory role focused on strategic growth initiatives.

"We are very excited about this acquisition and the impact it will have on our plans for future growth and success. We are enhancing our ability to support our customer's shipping needs and we will also see improvements to fleet utilization,” said Guy Sanderson, CEO Bolt Express.

Sanderson added that Bolt Express was “very impressed with the PTL culture that emphasizes safety and customer service. They will be a great fit at Bolt and we are looking forward to welcoming and working with our new team members, drivers and customers.”

It is worth noting that PTL is an expedite services provider, while Bolt Express is a transportation services company, founded in 2001.

Both companies are based in the city of Toledo in the state of Ohio, US.
